Dear Professional, I'm 44 years Asian Lady and had removed few fibroadenoma lumps twice in both breasts. Maternal grandmother and grand aunt died of breast cancer. My mum also had herself removed fibroadenoma lump.
I have always encountered pain in both breasts but left breasts give me more problem. When before mensuration I can feel like a stone inserted in my left breast, I feel heavy, tense and pain. I had right now reduce on caffeine products. Should I take evening primrose oil, vitamin B or D to reduce my symptoms.
My recent US done on 5/3/2010:
Clinical Data:Fibrocystic change.ex bx of fa in 2/09
US study of bilateral breast has been performed. Comparison done with previous study dated 28/8/09.
Multiple cysts are seen in both the breasts as shown in the diagram. Some of the cysts are complicated having internal echoes or septations. Most of the cysts are subcentimeter insize except a cyst in the (L) breast at 3 o'clock position 7 cm from the nipple measuring approximately 1.3x0.5x0.4cm. There is another hypoechoic nodule at 4 o'clock position in the (L) breast that is 4cms from the nipple measuring 1.1x1.0x0.5cm. It may be a cyst with internal echoes or a sonographically benign solid nodule.
No abnormal axillary lymphadenopathy is seen.
Impression-
Multiple cysts in both the breasts as shown in the diagram, most are subcentimeter and some are complicated. Two of the notable lesions are in the (L) breast as described above that are over 1 cm in size at 3 and 4 o'clock position. The nodule at 4 o'clock position is hypoechoic and could be either a cyst with internal echoes or a sonographically benign solid nodule. Since the previous study, the nodule at 4 o'clock position in the (L) breast has become more hypoechoic as compared to previously noted anechoic cyst. This is probably due to internal echoes.
My concerns is will complex cysts turn cancer? Will complex cysts and water cysts reduce the size or disappear if I change my diet.
Thanks in advance for your professional advice.
