Greetings

A note of thanks first to Med Help for selecting me as your new CL. I know we all miss Healingwell62 and thank her for her dedication to our Community. Although I hated to see her go, I was elated to see her return to a normal like .... proving of course "There is LIFE after Breast Cancer."

Thank you too for the congratulations and comments on my appointment. I truly hope that I will be able to live up to those kind words and I can assure you I will do my very best. As most of you "regulars" know I'm not much for speeches or lengthy responses. I feel if you ask a question, you want an answer. I am a person who knows only the truth and will never "sugar coat" anything. One of you has referred to my style as "smooth"; perhaps "cut & dried" is more like it .. LOL

I do have one request of all of you .... please share your experiences with the new visitors to our Community. I was just told yesterday by a poster that it was so comforting to hear from someone who had "been there". This is what a Community is all about.

To the newcomers; May I remind you that the only question that can be referred to as "foolish", "dumb","stupid"
of "ridiculous" is the one that goes UNANSWERED because it was never ASKED. We are here to answer, advise, inform, comfort and support in whatever way we can. Please come join us ! Let's make our Community THE PLACE TO BE when you have a question or concern regarding breast cancer issues.

You have said it best, as usual!  :-)

I can think of nothing to add, except "Merry Christmas!" to you, too.

And to all of our members, whatever special meaning it may hold for you,
"Happy Holidays!"

Thank you for the Holidays good wishes.. and also THANK you for being so constantly dedicated in helping so many people who post in our Forum.

You certainly deserve to be our Community leader because of your knowledge, commonsense and concern for all.
Even though we try our best to help new members you always come on top in answering the complicated questions! LOL

Yes, let us all pray collectively to find a" Cure" in this new coming year 2011!
God Bless you too Japdip...
Sincerely..
Sue♥

Wishing each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Once again I must say "Let this coming year be the year when a CURE is found so that generations to come will NEVER even know those terrible words, "BREAST CANCER". Many thanks to those who ask and even more to those who answer; lets keep up the good work so that no one is uninformed or leaves with questions or concerns.  Bless you ALL .......

japdip & SueYoung55:

You were both so helpful with my question, I hope to answer one for you:
I believe the lovely flowers in japdip's profile picture are the blooms of Flowering Quince (Latin name Chaenomeles).

I am a newcomer to this site but am already grateful to have a place to go to view questions and comments by women in a similar predicament to where I recently have found myself.  Thank you for this site and for your honest responses.  Looking forward to getting to know everyone better and hopefully, my upcoming surgery will go well and results will be B9

I'm here! I've been hiding under the "cancer can't touch me again" blanket! Just a wee vacation from the community.

I agree that japdip is awesome and so very appreciated. We are all lucky to have her :)

Some of us regulars have been concerned about SueYoung? She suddenly stopped being around as of about October/November 2009? We are concerned that something bad may have happened? Katrin

Just thought you deserved another round of applause for excellent service you provide to this forum!  Some  of us show up now and then, and put in "our 2 cents worth" here and there, but you steadfastly work every day, dealing with everything from the simplest to most complex issues, and sometimes if must feel as though you are carrying the world on your shoulders... We admire and appreciate you, even though we don't take time often enough to say it!
