I found a Lump on underside of breast.

Last night i felt a lump on the underside or 6:00 position on my breast.   It is where the bottom of my bra is. It is painful when i wear my bra . My sister said " cancer lumps don't hurt " Is that a myth? I am making an appointment with my Dr tomorrow but I am still a little scared.

I had stage 1 breast cancer in 2012.  I felt a small lump, it was hard months prior.  I don't remember it really hurting, but it was noticeable.  I had a lumpectomy.  In 2014, I felt a knot.  I had been talking to a friend and he had told me about B!7 which is used in Mexico and Canada to treat cancer. They used to sell it on Amazon, but discontinued.  You can find on cytopharma.  I took 2- 500mg twice a day, one in morning and one in evening.  I felt tingling and the cyst dissolved.  The doctor even noticed it!!!  So there was no cancer on the biopsy.  Occasionally I will take a 50mg once a day.  You don't need 500mg if no cancer.  On Utube there are many videos on this.

A lump or mass in the breast is the most common symptom of breast cancer. Such lumps are often hard and painless, though some may be painful. Not all lumps are cancer. Please keep updating us. And think positive.

As a rule breast lumps associated with cancer do not cause pain  but nothing can be determined with 100% certainty when it comes to dealing with cancer. Having said that let me say that there are many other lumps that can be discovered in the breast tissue that do cause discomfort that are benign. I applaud you for making an appointment so soon to find out what this lump represents; you are very wise. This could be a cyst (fluid filled sac) or a fibroadenoma which is a solid benign lump. This could also be associated with your bra .... if perhaps you wear an underwire type. I'm sure you will be given some type of test, perhaps an Ultrasound, in order to determine the cause of the lump. If you have concerns or questions when you get your results from your appointment please come back and add any additional information to this post as a comment.  Regards .....
