Hi I just had my biopsy for microcalcifications Friday will know the results Wednesday Mine is also a birad 4. I would be lying if I said Im not nervous about the results but we just have to take one day at a time and trust the Lord The biopsy was not as bad as I thought. A little sore for a couple of days thats it .I will be praying for you for both of us for good results God Bless and hang in there
Thanks all for your support. Going Wednesday for biopsy so I'll keep you posted!
Your right nc it is very emotionally draining and I need to take one day at a time. Food seems to be the focus lately I guess cause I can control that LOL
Thanks for all your comments and support
For what it's worth, I'm sending you all good wishes for benign findings, too. I have gotten a lot of information and support here and I'm grateful to all the wonderful women who take the time to respond here.
Try to stay positive and take one day, and one step, at a time. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to focus only on the testing and waiting. Worry won't make it any different and takes the energy you need to focus on yourself and your health.
Everyone is here for you during this difficult time and beyond, and I'm one of them.
Sending you a big hug ( ) ,
nc
Hi,
Like bluebutterfly said we are all here to support, encourage and help each other the best we can. This Forum in my opinion is he best place where we can feel that we are not alone.
Please keep posting any question you might have..we all went through difficult times too and so many of us found comfort and excellent advice from many wonderful members.
Wishing you all the best and God Bless you too.
Thank you for the info. Don't really have a support system right now and am keeping it to myself so this place to go and get support from all of you means alot. Keep you posted!
Hope all r doing well!
A BIRADS 4 rating calls for a biopsy, which is the only way to know for sure what you are dealing with, but a benign result is certainly possible.
I'm not sure why you would consider a second opinion at this point, but if the pathology report should indicate that there is a malignancy present, a second opinion might be of value at that time, to explore options and recommendations as to the best treatment plan for you.
This is a frightening time for anyone in this situation, especially all the waiting that takes place between each step in the process of obtaining a diagnosis, and then, if necessary, obtaining treatment. Be assured that members are here to help by providing information or just emotional support.
Please keep us posted in regard to how you are doing.
Best wishes...
