Is hormone pellet removal possible?

Can hormone pellets be removed? A friend had 50% estrogen, 50% testosterone pellets implanted about 5 months and again 1 month ago. She had a mammogram and biopsy in the last month showing breast cancer that is estrogen receptor +. She is perimenapausal and 50 years old. Please redpond

Hi,
I read that implanted hormone pellets last between 3-4 months and they cannot be removed because they completely dissolve on their own.
Your friend should talk to her Oncologist about it since her breast cancer is estrogen positive..
I am sure her treating doctors have encountered similar cases and would be able to advise her on how to deal with this problem.
