Open wound/lesion only grandmothers side boob

Hello, so my grandmother has a open lesion on the far side of her breast it's infected and my aunt is telling me it leaks puss... the doctors are saying it's nothing but they live in a poor country and I don't think they want to help.. I really need some answers please if anyone can help I'll send a picture if I can

This is something that definitely needs medical attention immediately !! I can't imagine any Drs , no matter where they are from, who would say that this is "nothing". I certainly keep looking for a Dr who will treat this condition. One thing that could be done is to keep this area very clean and free of pus; covered with some type of light dressing. Anything further would require professional medical treatment such as finding out the cause of the lesion, cleaning the area surgically and prescribing some type of antibiotic. Surely she can find some help somewhere. This could also be a cancerous lesion ... I'm wondering if you are being told the absolutely true story ??? People often refuse to admit to some issues and will tell cover stories to keep the issue private ???  Just a thought .... Best wishes.
