Lump?

Alright so i am 15.......I would think that would be to young to get breast cancer, but what do I know? I have never heard of getting it at this age. But i was just wondering. Alright, so just the other day my nipple on my right breast was a little sore, i had discovered that there was an oddly shaped lump in there. I got a little scared. It is about the size of my pink finger nail. I am a little freaked out....So i thought maybe i should ask a doctor, just to see what they think? So could you please help.....just give me some ideas o what you think? It would be very helpful! Thanks!

Please do not wait to see your doctor. Breast ca knows no age boundaries. My daughter was only 15 when she found a lump in her breast. I immediately took her to the doctor who did an ultra sound. Luckily it was nothing. Probably caused from too much caffeine which can cause lumpy breasts. Don't take any chances please have it checked out. I'll be praying for you!!!

I think you are probably too young also but I do think that you should see your Familly Dr. and have this ck.d out. Very often in teens and even pre-teens breast lumps can be due to hormonal changes in the body. The really smart thing to do whenever you find something that isn't "right" that concerns your breast is to see your Dr. who can examine your breast and maybe even order an ultrasound test if necessary to find out what's going on. Please do yourself a favor though.... DO NOT ever be so scared that you don't see your Dr..... OK ?? That's the biggest mistake women of any age can make.   Take care ....
