Nipple Discoloration

Over the past two months, one of my nipples have become dark purple and is a little larger than the other ne. It isn't painful, but it dosen't go away. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Um ok im 17 years old and i too notice my nipples have discoloured... to a reallly dark purple.. boobs are not sore at the moment... i dont recall them ever sore.. but that have gotten larger over the monthand are itchy!!... what is wrong !!!??

Hi.
Are there other signs and symptoms aside from nipple discoloration?
Nipple discoloration is a non-specific sign. It could be secondary to an infection, or post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
It would be best to consult your doctor for proper evaluation.
