Odd symptoms

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone here can shed some light if they had similar symptoms before diagnosis and what that diagnosis was. I do have a gp appointment on wed and will request an ultrasound. I am 29, with no history of bc in family, had a clinical breast exam last month, nothing unusual found, only normal glandular tissue. I am thin so I can feel down to my bones Everytime I do a self exam and I can't feel anything that sticks out to me as a lump.

Starting about two months ago I've been having this odd symptom that I ignored due to it being so mild. I get a pang/discomfort towards the sternum side of my left breast and near the areola Everytime my body temperature goes up due to exercise, opening up a hot oven, being exposed to extreme heat, taking a really hot shower. It's like my breast hates heat! Starting about 20 days ago I developed a new symptom where during the day my breast mildly heats up periodically either under my left armpit going towards my back or middle of left breast to areola/nipple, enough so that I notice. My period was due to start near when the new symptoms started but it never came, I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. All symptoms seem to stop in the evening, when I relax at home after work. These wonky issues are driving me crazy!

Thank you for reading

Thanks Japdip! I'm sure the gp will order a blood test as well...I feel like my hormones are out of Wack but also want to make sure there isn't anything abnormal in the breast tissue.

None of these symptoms seem to be related to any breast issue but perhaps rather hormonal changes, especially since you stated that some were present just before your period was due to begin. I doubt an Ultrasound would be of much value since you have never felt a lump or a change in the "feel" of the breast tissue. Some hormone studies might shed some light on the issue but this would be up to your Physician. This would also clear up the irregularity of your menstrual cycle which definitely should be investigated.  Regards ....
