Papillary Lesion

I was diagnosed today with a papillary lesion in my right breast. I am very happy it is not breast cancer. Most of the postings I've read on this site have positive feedback about the removal of the lesion and the fast recovery. But I have a few questions. Did the papilloma return? Did anyone have a history of breast cancer in their family? I understand that the lesions are not "cancerous" but could be hiding cancer? How quickly is the surgery scheduled? Thanks in advance for your feedback. Hugs, M

It is true that if you have only one papilloma that it is more than likely to be a benign finding and surgery is the usual treatment. As far as how soon the surgery would be scheduled, that would be up to your Surgeon and his/her schedule. Symptoms can be nipple discharge and of course the discovery of a lump and some pain may be experienced .... I suppose it could be described as a burning sensation; depending on how a person "feels" pain. I wouldn't say that  a papilloma would "hide" cancer but if there are more than one lesion the possibility does exist that a lesion might be something other than benign. That particular papilloma wouldn't necessarily return but more may develop in the future.  Regards .....

Sounds as though things are progressing well and I'm glad you will be seeing the Surgeon this month. I'm not sure about your applying of the oil though as this should be approved by your Dr like any other non-medical application. It's always best to check with your Physician before using any supplement type of method. Keep up the positive feelings !!  Regards ...

Hi, thank you for your response. I found out that it is actually papillomatosis. Multiple lesions. I go to see the surgeon on the 23rd March. I'm feeling positive. I've been applying Francinscense oil to the area and the lump where they took the biopsy is getting smaller.  I also have to go back in 6 months for a check on both breasts as it can grow in both so I've read.

Thanks again!

Also wanted to ask about symptoms. About 2 months ago I had a burning sensation coming from my nipple. It felt like hot daggers. Did anyone feel something similar?
