Small red bumps on breast - is this IBC?

Hello - a few days ago, I happened to notice a scattering of small pink/red bumps on the top of my right breast. They look like little sweat bumps, I guess. There are actually a few on my left breast, too, but just a few.

For some reason I decided to google it and lots of results about inflammatory breast cancer came back, which kind of freaked me out. Does this sound like IBC, or the beginning of it? I don't have any swelling, pain, itch, etc, and no major redness - just a funny little section of pink bumps.

Would be grateful for any advice. I'm hoping it's just dry skin, or a breakout caused by my clothing, but I'd like to know if others think this is more serious.

Thank you both for replying, I really appreciate it. The bumps on the top part of my right breast have unfortunately spread out a bit over the past few days. It's almost as if many of the pores/hair follicles on my skin have turned pink/red and are slightly raised, like little pink goosebumps, almost. There are also a few spots where the redness spreads out a bit more from the bump and creates a larger red splotchy area.  It's not like this on the left side. Still no pain or swelling or anything else, just these little goosebumps and splotches. What should I do? Does this sound more serious?

Hi,
Katrin is right, this doesn't sound at all like IBC.You could be having an allergic reaction to some new clothing ( maybe a new bra or a night shirt?)If these bumps don't resolve in a few days, you might want to see a dermatologist or your doctor to give you some idea concerning this matter.Best wishes.

No, it's not IBC. Not only because IBC is rare, but because of those who have it, it is even more rare that this would be affecting both breasts. Almost always, the symptoms happen just in one breast. Also, this just does not sound like it and you would have other symptoms before this or along with it.
I think you can relax.  Katrin
