Suspicious lump with "vascularity"

I had a mammogram and ultrasound on Monday, and they found a lump in my left breast that is suspicious. It is 8 mm in size, and the radiologist said that there was "vascularity" which I am told means that there is a blood supply to it. In addition, my lymph nodes under both arms are sore. They have scheduled me for a needle biopsy on Friday. My question is whether a benign lump would have a vascularity. I have been searching the internet, but am not really finding much information on this.

Thanks!

That's OK about the double post .. it's happened to me too. You can't really base a benign or malignant diagnosis on whether there is vascularity. The biopsy will certainly determine the true nature of the lump in your breast. Waiting isn't pleasant and we all tend to overthink these things; it's a normal human response. Please let us know the results of tomorrow's biopsy ... you should have the results some time next week.  Best wishes ....
