Hi Dr. Paul! Thanks so much for your quick reply! Your answer made me feel better! ^^ Mabuhay ka. pero po... I have to ask this one question for you.. If the lump will disappear after my period, do I still have to see a doctor? I don't feel any pain right now in my left nipple but it's still itchy in some area and the lump is not becoming bigger......What will I do?

hi Dr. i forgot to tell you that when i sometimes scratch some part of it, it peels.. Is it normal when it's peeling?

Hi.

If the lump would disappear after your menses, then this might really represent fibrocystic disease or fibroadenoma which is really common in women your age.  You may just observe your breast at this point and may not need medical attention.  However, if any of the symptoms remain, may it be the itchiness or some pain, or if the lump did not disappear completely, then this may have to be seen by your doctor and get worked up (like a mammogram or an ultrasound of the breast).
