Women are in need to known about a rare form of breast cancer. It is called Inflammatory Breast Cancer. It is a rare but aggressive form of cancer that does not present itself in the normal fashion. It almost never has the "Tell-Tale" lump which is in the breast but may show as a lump under the arm, or around the collarbone. Many Dr's aren't too familer with this Dx as they only come across it in school. Many women are dismiss after complaints of lump or swelling under the armpit. To detect IBC one needs to have MRI or a biospy and to know all the warning signs which are; One breast enlarges and the nipple inverts or an inverted nipple, thickening of the breast tissue, rapid increase of breast size, reddness, skin hot to touch, persistent itching, and orange peel texture and of course the sweeling and lump under the arm.
