I just returned from the diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. Some calcifications seen but no mass found. I am in the clear until next year. Thanks for responding.
Well, yes, I surely think they did see either the same asymmetry they saw last year, or otherwise a clearer picture which gives them the same feeling they had before and which is to follow up on what is visible with more diagnostic tests like ultrasound and/or even biopsy?
A suspicion is often followed up to make sure 'it's' not malignant, or otherwise to find out what it is exactly.
Does that make sense? I am not surprised, and yet, calling you back does not mean it's malignant?
