breast aspiration

I am very worried. Last month I developed a golf ball size abycess in my right breast. After going on some antibotics and IB, within a week it went away. My doctor had me have a mammo. Waiting for the results, the nurse came back in, told me that I needed another mammo. In the waiting room again, the nurse came back and said that I needed an ultrasound. During the Ultrasound the radiologist said that she seen something suspicious and wanted me to see a Breast Specialist to have an aspiraton done that day. There are a few things that are concerning me...The fluid from the cyst was not sent out to be tested. Is that normal? Also I have another cyst know on my left breast on mynipple. I have no idea whats going on..Please give me some answers.

Hi,
Probably you are too nervous about the things that happened recently especially for a mammogram to be taken. Relax, this was just an screening test and not that it was taken just because you were suspected to harbor malignancy.
The breast abscess that you developed last month was drained and you were started on antibiotics. There should have been a small remnant of abscess cavity that turned into an antibioma or the abscess cavity wall would have shown abnormality in the mammogram. Hence just to confirm this ultrasound was taken.
Breast cysts are usually benign in nature.
