breast dimple with pain

I am 57 years old I noticed a small dimple at the site of an old biopsy scar. The biopsy was done when I was about 30 and was benign. I have some pain like aching in my clavicle area and in my armpit and around the dimple. I don't feel a lump but tenderness. My mother had breast caner and colon and my sister died of breast at 35 and my grandmother had breast cancer too.Could this be cancer or just a dermatological problem?

Hi,
I hope that after your last biopsy you have been checked regularly by your doctor.A pain in the armpit should be checked for lumps and especially the dimple.
When a dimple is noticed it's usually because the breast tissue is being pulled in by something and I would advise you to ask your doctor to run some tests like a mammogram/ Ultrasound to make sure that there isn't an underlying problem.Even though you cannot feel a lump, it still could be there.
With a close family history of breast cancer I would not ignore this dimple and the pain that might be related.
I hope it's nothing serious...but please contact your doctor.
Best wishes..
