breast pain...scared...

i havebeen expericning pain in both of  my breast for close to 6 months...and im scared as hell...a day or two might gp by go by without them hurting..i dont want it to be breast cancer....a lil about my story is that in nov i had an exam by my family dr, and she  said it was muscular...how ever i wasnt really happy with the exam persay...she onlytook 5 secs for each one....also in april 2007 i had a fully great exam...and they said it was goood! so im stupped... i did have an accident and it effected my upper reigon..and my bones hurt in the middle of my chest..but she keeps insisiting to me..that this is all muscular..also i do have red dots on my upper chest area..like my colar bone...but itmight just be achne...also im 28...i honestly dont feel any lumps..i feel stuff in there lol but not sure exactly what i feel..and its not hard...i go to the ob on tuesday!! and im freaking out!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you think you're making yourself sick over this then maybe you are right. Constant pain can make you pretty sick also and I don't think your time would be wasted if you saw a Pain Management Specialist. They usually have many different approaches to chronic and debilitating pain. It would certainly be worth a try.    Regards .....

well i thought so to..but it just dont make any sense to where they hurt me everyday..(almost) but im scaring myself sick!

I don't see any connection between your breast pain and breast cancer .... this is rarely associated with pain. Since you've had 2 breast exams and no lumps were found then the pain must be coming from another source. I suggest that you might see someone who specializes in the treatment of Chronic Pain. I'm not sure what your OB/GYN can do for this pain .... perhaps he/she might order an Ultrasound to put your mind at ease about there being anything abnormal within the breast tissue.    Regards ...
