does fibrocystic breast go away?

I have had cystic breast for about four years now. Usally they get inflamed and swell about two or three weeks before my period, But this month my boobs havent gotten swollen or tender, i dont have any signs of my fibro this month and that had never happened. its always been something i can always count on happening, so i was wondering what could be the cause or if it can just go away??

It could return .. so much depends on those hormones :)  Be happy while it lasts .... take care and best wishes.

you are right i am very happy about it not happening this month, but being that is always has, it is just very different, i thought maybe my husband and i could be pregnant but i took a test and it was negative, and sometimes ill go a whole month with out a period so having a later period is nothing. It is just a little concerning when its never happened, i would just like to know if it could come back next month, or if it just decided to leave me alone for good. thank you

Any if the breast issues that are hormone related can vary from time to time in relation to the hormone levels in the body. This then can be related to age and other factors. I can't imagine that you would be unhappy about this not happening .... If you have no particular symptoms I wouldn't be too concerned about it. If at any time you do have any symptoms such as a lump that you can easily feel that doesn't go away then always see your Dr. for a clinical breast exam and any other testing that may be appropriate and in the mean time don't neglect to do your monthly self exams.  Regards ....
