PS: Any information specific to your aunt must come from a family member who has been informed, and/or the doctor.

If she is getting chemo, your aunt is at least somewhat advanced but there are so many factors to consider, and it's all about the individual and not just breast cancer in general.

If her cancer has not spread, then there is a lot of hope, and if it has spread to other organs or the bones, then she may very well have some good years left. Chemo these days is not as horrible as it used to be, and radiation isn't bad. I have gone through pretty much 'all there is to go through'.

Best, Katrin

That info is all over and in front od you on the Internet, and it's many, many breast cancer sites. There is no way we could even begin to tell you all that is out there. just google the subjects you are most interested in,i.e. breast cancer staging.
