Hi,

There is no way for anyone to determine whether you might have breast cancer again from the small amount of information you have provided. (A solid mass could be either a benign finding or something more serious.)

When you were given the results of your ultrasound, was a BI-RADS Category included? Was a recommendation made for future followup, additional testing, or a biopsy? If you're not sure, please address your questions regarding this finding to your doctor.

I hope all is well with you, but given your previous history of BC, it is esp. impotant to understand whether this mass appeared at all suspicious to the radiologist.

Please come back and let us know what you find out--we care!

Best wishes,

Hi,
It is a possibility ,but I sure hope not! What did your radiologist recommended? more ex-rays or a biopsy? The solid lump could be something other then cancer, like for example fat necrosis that can develop after breast surgery. It often looks like breast cancer, even though it is benign.Fat necrosis may take many forms and is hard to diagnose.I am sure your radiologist  has made recommendations on what to do next. You might need a mammogram or MRI and if neither one of these images are conclusive, a biopsy may be required to confirm if it's fat necrosis, because a microscopic examination of the cells will shed the most light on your condition.
I wish you all the best !
