itchy nipples

my nipples have been ithcy for months now,its so frustrating somtimes...and somtimes i will scratch and scratch untill they kind of bleed and tthen it stings to wear top's and bra's,i went to the doctor's a while ago and he said it was exma...but can exma linger for so long??i use to get rash's and exma wen i was little alot too.please help!

I have a itchy nipple too but only the right one, it's been 2 weeks that I experienced this. I am a little bit worried on it. Is this any relation with the weather today coz it's really down here in Florida. I need your advise. Thank you

Dear liv90210:  Skin on the nipples and breasts is like skin anywhere on the body and is subject to a wide variety of abnormalities.  If this is eczema, there may be a cream that could be prescribed for you.  As this has lasted a couple of months without relief, you may benefit from bringing this up with your doctor again or seeing a dermatologist.
