Hello I've posted a couple of times before just wondering if anyone has been through this. I found a lump in my left breast. Its soft and it kinda moves it get tender at times. Recently i've been feeling pain under my armpit like if its swollen when i checked it out i found a small lump bigger than a pea. Ive been having backpains in the same side as the lumps i have an ultrasound and a mammogram on wed. Im 22 yrs old Ive had lumps on my breast ever since i was 16. Theirs no history of breast cancer in my family. I have 3 fibroadenomas on my right breast. But what scrares me is the lump in my armpit and the pain im getting. I hope everything comes out alright.

Yea my breast are disgusting too. They feel weird. I went to see my doctor today and their sending me to get a biopsy and get all the lumps removed. I'm scared because even though they said that everything looks normal and their propably fibroadenomas what if one of them is not. Hopefully everything comes out alright. Maybe you should ask for a ultrasound to check all the little lumps. I just want to get this over and done with.  Lets see what happens. Good Luck with everything and ask them to do tests on the new lumps.

You know...I wish I had had an ultrasound and mammogram first (ok, maybe not the mammogram) because they went straight in for the biopsy...so now I know that one lump was not cancerous, but I have no idea what the heck else is in there. And now I have all these hard little lumps popping up every where...my boob is disgusting :( The surgeon told me that I have fat necrosis, which basically is decaying fat in my breast (yuck, right?) But what is causing this??? He could not tell me so now, MORE waiting on the results from my blood test and I am not even sure that will tell me what is going on. Good luck with your biopsy, and take it easy afterwards if they do surgery. I tried to go back to my high impact life too quickly and had a hard time healing.

I got my mam and ult done. I just received my results that said everything looked normal. Now I have to see my doctor have him refer me to a breast specialist so i could get a biopsy done. To see what is causing all this pain. And to check the lumps under my armpit. I dont see why they dont do this all at once. I just want to get this over and done with. I hope your blood test come out good. I go see my doctor on Mon so lets see what he thinks i should do. Keep me updated. Good Luck.

I dont know my doctor said that they were going to give me a mammogram and a ultrasound. But i hope they do a biopsy because  I'm tired of waiting and worrying about what i have. What scares the most is all the pain I'm getting everyone says "oh it's just a cyst" but i dont think a cyst would give me back, arm , and side pains. I'm glad everything came out alright for you. I appreciate all the info your giving me. I will keep you updated my appointment is finally tommorrow. Thanks again.

Are you having a biopsy on Wed? I had mine a week ago today. They removed the entire mass. I was really scared but it was all a big piece of cake! My incision, underneath my armpit on the periphery of my right breast hurts, but the ironic part of the whole surgery was in order to remove the lump they had to cause some minor nerve damage...I barely felt a thing other than the cut and soreness from anesthesia. I am just now starting to feel pain where they cut the lump out, and it happened a week ago! The nerve damage apparently was minor and the problems I have had from it are starting to disappear. If you are having surgery, I wish you a lot of luck! That would be weird if you have the same condition as me. On Thurs I am having some blood tests to determine if I have a "connective tissue" disorder. Again, I will let you know anything that I find out just in case it helps you find a resolution to your problems!

Finally I find someone that has similiar symptoms that I'm having. So far I have a lump in my breast and in my armpit. But i do feel my neck and my groin area sore. My lump feels hard to and its really deep in the armpit. i cant really tell if the lump in the armpit is smooth but the one in my breast is. Lets see what they tell me when i go on wed.

I had the exact same thing happen to me! The biopsy revealed that the lump was fat necrosis. Mine was a very hard lump underneath my armpit and it seemed to have hard inflamed veins radiating out from either side.  Your symptoms seem similar to mine with the back pain and the nodules in your breast. My surgeon was very complacent about the whole thing, but when I pressed him for answers, he admitted not knowing a great deal about the condition. I am having blood work on Thurs. to determine if this could be a symptom of something else. Are your nodules smooth, not granular? Fibrocystic tissue, from what I understand, is granular. I thought that is what I had because people would ask "does it move" and I would say yes and they would just brush it off as that. But my primary care physician does not think that it is normal. Are your nodules appearing all over your body? Mine have occurred in the breasts, the neck and the groin. Let me know what you find out about yours and I will likewise tell you anything that I learn about the condition.

Hi,

From the description that you give this seems to be fibroadenomas most probably.
These incraese in size, pain and tendernes with hormonal fluctuations as seen during menstrual cycles.

There is no reason to get scared - this does not seem to be cancer.

The arm pit lymph node could be due to the infective process.

You should still go ahead with the relevant investigations to come to a confirmed diagnosis and consult your breast specialist about further management.

Let us know what your doctor tells you.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.
