Hi Im facing surgery on the 25th October this month a mascotmy on my left breast, im in the Uk so things bit different here, to say im scared is an understatment!!!!! all the help i can get will be great thankyou ladies!

Hi Izzy,

Is this  surgery going to be on Oct 25th, when the original surgery was scheduled, or has that changed too?

Please let us know how things turn out, okay?

Things have changed yet again, now we are going to remove the cancer lump, then get that tested to see if i have to have radiotherpy or not, if not then i can carry on as planned with masctomey then chemo then hormon therpy!

Are you having a mastectomy with immediate reconstruction or without? If you're having a mastectomy alone the recovery is quick and here, in the US it's become an outpatient surgery for the most part.
