pain on BC scar

I had a lumpectomy 5 years ago THANK GOD cancer is been in remission I'm on femara ,and I have this pain on the area were the lumpectomy scar is ,I'm very limiteded to do heavy lifting  if I do the pain is very strong ,do u think is because the scar is rigth betwen breast and arm pit and the muscle was broken?I will ask my oncologist this Q next month, but I will appreciate your opinion,for how long the drug femara 2.5 mg I will be taken? I took tomaxifen for 41/2 years and my dr recomend to switch to femara because I'm postmenopause and I would benefit better from it ,thank u

Hello, I take Femara and I have to take it for 5 years.  I have very few side effects, dry skin and hair so far and I've taken for 10 months.  SECONDLY...search the net for "post mastectomy pain syndrome' and see if your symptoms compare to these.  I have this but drs dont know much about it. You have to inform them.  Luck to you
