red bumps on breast----SCARED!

I have just noticed 3 very small red bumps on lt. breast, one is on the inner side near chest wall, the other 2 are underneath. I do not know how long they have been there because the  way they are in the skin folds, they are not visible unless you lift the breast up. I have large breast (with implants I want out). They are small, red, with a dry top to them.I have done way too much "symptom surfing" and now I am afraid it is IBC. Last mammo and oB apt. was in March-everything-ok. NO hx. of breast Ca. I am scared out of mind.My breast is NOT warm, red or swollen all over though.Should I be worried? Could this just be heat or dry skin irritation? Thank you so much to anyone and all who respond to me. (I am 43 yrs old)

Dear 1scared girl:  Your symptoms sound much more typical of some type of skin irritation than IBC.  IBC does not usually present as a couple of bumps but rather a more generalized rash, warmth to touch and swelling.  If they don't go away you could have them examined but these do not sound concerning.

three small red bumps in separate locations isn't at all what inflammatory breast cancer looks like: it is generally a large red area which is warm. What you describe sounds like a skin problem, maybe folliculitis which is inflammtion of hair follicles. You could try some warm packs on them. If they don't go away in a few days, have a checkup. But it sounds very innocent

Thank you so much for your reply. I have been "diagnosed" with folliculitis on chest wall before. They were more swollen and painful bumps. These are smaller, flatter and have a dryer texture. I had one similar removed off of the other breast 2 months ago and it turned out to be "dry skin". Could these new ones be dry bumps that are irritated? They look like "eruptons" that the skin breaks on top.Hope I make sense---just really scared of IBC.
