sore that won't heal on my left breast

I have what appears to be a red pimple or sore that won't heal on my left breast.  no pain, no heat, no itching, no swollen breast, nipple is normal. it just appeared 2 weeks ago and seems to be staying the name.  Now it looks like another one is starting just above this one.  I have an apt with my dr in 1 week.  Should I do something sooner?  I'm trying not to worry.  Thanks!
Cindy

Hi Cindy.
It would be hard to tell exactly what that red pimple-like lesion is.  It is always better to have a good physical examination to aid in arriving at a diagnosis.   I agree with your decision to have your breast checked by your doctor.  You may continue to observe for any changes in the lesion while waiting for your doctor’s appointment.  If you can have the appointment sooner, that would be better.
Take care.

I can't answer if you should move you appointment up or not -- that's for you and your dr. to decide.  The good thing is you are on top of this and aware!  Good for you.  Perhaps one of our drs. here will weigh on on your question.
