Thanks so much. Both your comments were very helpful to me.
The particular place seems to be getting smaller but there is a rash under my breasts, too.  I will try to get in to see a dr.
thank you!

dimples in skin,
inverted nipple, (if more and different than before)
lumps that you find, and this also goes for the above pints, in only one breast and not both.
rash, not necessarily all over the breast, sometimes under the breast
change in size of breast
general feeling of unwellness, like muscle weakness
weight gain
thickening of skin
rapid changes you notice

most important, these are symptoms restricted to one breast only

These are the symptoms I had, so I am only giving you some ideas.

Hope this helps

Inflammatory breast cancer can appear normal until the tumor cells invade and block lymphatic vessels in the skin. The fluid backs up and the breast becomes discolored swell and feels hot to the touch.IBC can be confused with breast infection, but if it's cancer the antibiotic will not serve it's purpose. If you notice skin changes on your breast seek medical attention ASAP to distinguish breast infection from other breast disorders.New treatment approaches for IBC offer a greater survival rate than ever before. Please see your doctor if you feel that your breast is concerning you. Best wishes.
