I am getting so overwhelmed and anxious

Just heard my great neice 6 yo has the H1N1 flu now and is real sick.  What is going to be next.  I know I should not feel so overwhelmed but there is only so much I can take.  I do not know of a time in my life that I have had so many sick, and seriously sick family members.  Ihave always been the strong hold and reference point with family emergencies.  My family choice to remove from that role due to my exhaustion and periodic confusin.  I understand but it still hurts.  It makes me seem even more helpless.  I continue to pray but ask God to please no more.  To give me peace and how I can best help and show his love and care to others.  Anyway please pray for me to not be so negative and that I will be more able to show God's love.

My nephew survived the H1Ni flu and it was a very scary time for the family. The flu works so rapid and it is not like normal flu's that attack the bronchial tubes, this flu attacks deep in the lungs, which makes it very dangerous. My nephew did not feel well one day, within hours a sore throat, vomitting and a fever of 105. He was rushed to the hospital, given very strong antibiotics, sent home and quarantine. My sister who is a Neonatal intesive care nurse, did not allow him out of the room and disinfected his every move and withing a week, he was back in school with a letter of permission from the doctor and approval of school nurse. Anthony is doing great, so rest easy that she will be treated appropriately with strong antibiotics and if the case is serious enough to be hospitalized, she will be in the best place for medical care. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayes, because it is a very scary time, but remember to always be in walk with God through these trials and tribulations. Judy

I understand what you're going through. I think we're all seeing a lot more attacks from the enemy. I think Jesus must be very near to coming back. Try to remember that God is in control and to keep giving him all of this because we can't shoulder all of this ourselves. It's too much. Only He knows the future and knows how everything turns out. We have to trust that He will do what is best for us and take care of us.

I totally understand how you're feeling, though, because I've struggled with those same thoughts. What helps me is to take the time to get in God's Word and find His promises and stand on them. I pray all the time and listen to praise music when I can. It really does help.
We all need to stand together and pray for each other because where 2 or more agree on anything here on earth it will be done for us and a three cord strand is not easily broken. We become more powerful (with God's power) when we are praying for each other.
God bless you, stubby. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
