I think im just like everyone else out there trying to get as much education on the situation before i go into the doctors office. I greatly appreciate the comments back.
I have been using OPKs since we started trying in 2009. I was on Depo for 5 years after my son and it took about 11months before my cycles came back after stopping the injections. Then with the first positive OPK was also followed by a BFP, but m/c. I do get positive OPK results, but after seeing my images from my laparoscopy/hysteroscopy I think i had a lot going on including a blocked tube. Ill find out more about the exact details on Feb 2, but im cleaned and ready to go now.
I will do the OPKs and see what cd the doctor wants me to use clomid on for my best chance at conceiving. We miscarried the twins in June 2011 so we're just about due for good news-the surgery was step one, now we wait.....lots of waiting going on with this ttc journey.
Very happy for you and thanks again for your reply. O yah, what amount of clomid were you on. Im thinking since i had positve opks previous that 50 should be enough for my body to get that extra push it needs- ive heard that too much can actually have a negative affect on ttc, we deffinately dont want that ;)

Oh and I took clomid on days 3-7 of my cycle.  This second round they told me to use an ovulation kit starting 5 days after my last clomid pill which was day 12.  Once we got a positive they told us to have sex that evening and then the following morning.  It obviously worked so maybe try doing that if you are not currently doing so :-)

Hello Heatonwife09-

Yes this is my very first pregnancy with no previous miscarriages.  My doc decided to put me on clomid because my husband and I have been trying for 1 1/2 years with no success and with my very long cycles averaging 40 days or more she decided I wasn't ovulating.  So thus needed a little help from clomid.  Good luck with everything!!!

First news of being pregnant is so exciting you just want to share it with everyone!  We only shared the good news right away with a few people who knew we were undergoing fertility treatments and then waited until they found a heartbeat until telling a few more and then waited til the end of the first trimester before sharing it wiith most others.  We're glad we did it that way because when I miscarried (twice) we only had to share the sad news with those with whom we would have told anyways.  A friend of mine's husband told EVERYONE (i.e., posting it on Facebook) at 6 weeks.  She then had a miscarriage and it was horrible for them to have to share something so personal with everyone.  It made them terribly nervous to share the news when they got pregnant again even though she's nearing her third trimester.  That was our experience.  I'm sure everything will go well with your pregnancy and you will be blessed with a little one before you know it!

Im excited to see you are preggers on your 2nd round of clomid and at 50mg. That gives me hope. Is this your first pregnancy then? Whats your pregnancy history? For us....we have a 7 year old son and have had 2 m/c after him one in 2010, and lost twins in 2011, so for us we will be waiting a long while before spilling the beans. If this is your first pregnancy and your bursting at the seams to spread the great news, Id say do it....enjoy your pregnancy and let others be a means of joy and support for you in your journey.
What brought you to needing Clomid if I may ask. I had no issues with my pregnancy with my son and never thought Id go on fertility drugs, but DH and i are elated that we have the chance to try it and get the boost to get the baby making going faster. I pray to have the same news by round 2, that is great. Any suggestions or experiences from going on Clomid you'd like to share?
Please stay on this forum and keep updates coming.
Again, Congrats and happy & healthy 9months ahead.
