testing for pregnancy on clomid

I started Clomid earlier this month on days 3-7 50mg.
I went and had my blood drawn and tested for progesterone yesterday and today my doctor called with the news that I did ovulate. When is the soonest I can test and find out if I am pregnant or not. My expected next period is on the 3rd of November...

Update:  Decided to take this month off of Clomid, a lot of stress and things have been going on in our lives, ran into some financial trouble. (Husband hit a deer, he's okay, just we are without one of our cars and had to move from our home quickly when my hubby took a spur of the moment job offer three hours away from where we originally lived) We decided to take time away from trying to make a baby until we are more stable in life as a family unit. I've become kind of depressed and I know that how you are feeling and if you have a very high stress life that can directly affect the baby.
I will defiantly be around for emotion support and whatever advice I can offer to all of you :)

I hope y'all don't mind me intruding, but I also took clomid 100mg cycle day 3-7 and I'm currently 5/6dpo...

I hope the second time works out for you! I am currently on my first cycle of Clomid. I have 2 more pills left  (3-7)
I'm really hoping it'll work the first time!

This morning I woke up with cramps, went to the bathroom and AF came. :(

We are going to try again this month with clomid 50mg days 3-7 but I think Im going to use ovulation tests also to help pinpoint when exactly I ovulate.

My husband and I are kinda bummed but at the same time there is a TON going on in our lives right now and this next month all the stress should die down!

Most hot can pick up a week before ur period but everyone's body is different also!! I did clomid last week!! I'm waiting as well!! If u test now an it's negative test after ur period if u don't get it. Some ppl don't get a pos until 6-8 weeks it just depends on the hcg in ur body!! Keep me posted!!
