Extreme bloating 2 weeks after laparothomy

My mother has ovarian cancer stage 4 and had her laparothomy 2 weeks ago. Dr. Teng at Stanord has removed abt 95% of her tumors. Part of hr intestins was removed, uterus and ovaries.
There are still remaining tumors in her stomach and liver..

She ad hr NG tube for about a week after surgery, but then she was pasing gasses, etc., so she was released after 10 days.
She is now home and her stomach keeps growing. She complains a lot about bloating. Is it due to ascities or usual discomfort after major abdominal surgery. Shell we go to emergecny room ? Ask for CT scan ? I am not sure if this is just  fear of growing cancers or something else going on ... She is practically refusing to eat ...

Yes, she was admitted to the hospital with bowel abstruction. It could be caused by tumors in stomach as well. She had NG tube back in and felt much better.
Hopefully additional testing over this coming week will give more information.
I am not sure what do you mean under "a frank discussion with your cancer doctors". I never felt they hid anything from me...

I took my mother to emergency room today. She was dehydrated. There was ascites fliuid but not the only reason for bloating. Plus gasses and indigestion.
Problem here is she is refusing to eat and she drinks very little, so she is getting weaker and weaker. In the mean time the only way to stop fluids is chemotherapy. But she is too weak even now and getting weaker and weaker.
I wonder if anything can be done in this condition.
