Post lumpectomy question

I had a Lumpectomy just over 2 weeks ago for biopsy, will have a simple mastectomy on August 3 with sentinal node removal after IDC diagnosis in my RIGHT breast.
2 days ago I started experiencing discomfort in my LEFT breast radiating from the underside of the breast to the nipple. My surgery site is nowhere close to the area I am experiencing discomfort.
Is it normal referred pain or something that I should bring to the surgeon's attention? My surgeon is on vacation until July 30th so I'm conflicted about explaining this to someone on call.

This type pain in the opposite breast is not uncommon in post surgical patients, perhaps because of position changes during surgery, the type of post op bra worn.  I would not worry about, but please see your surgeon after they return from vacation.
