waiting for surgery

What is an acceptable time frame to wait from breast cancer diagnosis to surgery?  I had a biopsy in August- Dcis with microinvasion  and surgery is not scheduled until November 19th.  Originally not scheduled until December which I said was unacceptable so found another surgeon and soonest date was NOvember.  Am worried regarding metatasis and emotionally the wait has been horrible.

So sorry to hear about your husband.  I know the waiting is horrible.  You just want to know what your dealing with and start fighting it.  I will be thinking of you both and will pray all goes well with your husband.

My husband is in a similar position. He was diagnosed with cancer of the kidney three weeks ago. He is not scheduled for surgery until the 9th of November. The emotional piece can be overwhelming:(

Your in our thoughts and prayers!
