BCG Treatments

I will be starting BCG Treatmens on May 2, 2008.  I have read alot about the treatments, and have two specific questions.
1.  After receiving the treatmet is it advisble to go home and relax?  I know I have to pour bleach in the toilet after voiding, or do I carry a gallon of bleach around with me.
2  I have a 2 year old grand daughter. Should I stay away from her during the treatments?

Hi.  It may be advisable for you to go home and relax after treatment.  Some of the treatment side effects (e.g. fever, frequent and painful urination) start to occur 4-6 hours after administration of the BCG, so its probably best for you to be home during that time.  You probably don't need to carry a gallon of bleach with you everywhere you go.  But it will probably help in terms of hygiene, if you use the same toilet bowl after BCG administration.  You don't need to stay away from your granddaughter during treatments.  You just need to take certain precautions to avoid contaminating others.  I found a website which explains what precautions to take in more detail: http://www.ticebcg.com/Consumer/faqs/index.asp
