I received the results from pap. It looks good. I suppose its due to manopause. But I will keep track of how I feel and take it from there. Thanks again.
Hi. The bloated sensation, cramps and irregular spotting are all non-specific symptoms and do not necessarily point to a diagnosis of either uterine or ovarian cancer. The majority of cancers (around 75-80%) of the uterine cervix are a result of mutation caused by certain strains of human papilloma virus and are not hereditary. Ovarian cancer likewise is usually not hereditary, although having close relatives with either breast or ovarian cancer may increase your risk of having this disease. The above set of symptoms you mentioned could very well be signs of menopause. But if you're really worried about your condition, it wouldn't hurt to ask your doctor to have a pelvic ultrasound done, just to check for any uterine or ovarian masses.
