Brain cancer from Chinese produced Metronidazole?

I'm having some health concerns. Let me be as concise and clear as possible.

Recent bout of headaches so doctor ordered MRI of the brain 10 days from now. I'm 27
Relevant factors~

1. After visiting China approx 1 1/2 months ago did a parasite cleanse with "metronidazole (Chinese produced)" it gave me big time headaches when first taking it but that's a possible side effect-

2. Recent flu shot, maybe a touch of cold.

If actually brain cancer~ could it have been caused/triggered suddenly by bad meds?

I'm looking to make sense of this and find comfort/facts for the time being.

Kind of hard to say whats relevant. let me try~~~doctor was light on explanation, said I needed an MRI and simply ended the meeting with a "good luck"

Sometimes in a fog of sorts...the headache is seemingly on front left side with transient moderate pain.
Continue to have headaches esp. after working out
occasional muscle twitching for awhile now
Nausea at times
Raised uric acid in absence of kidney dysfunction

Seems to be textbook tumor symptoms

Trying to keep sane...MRI happens Friday

Hi,
How are you? What other symptoms are present? Can you elaborate on the character and intensity of your headache?  One side effect of metroniazole is indeed headache. To rule out brain cancer, imaging studies such as MRI or CT scan is usually indicated. The common symptoms for brain cancer include : headache, weakness, clumsiness, difficulty walking and even seizures. If there is no history of trauma in the past, the headache could also be due to primary headaches such as migraine, tension or cluster headaches. It is best that you discuss this with your doctor or be referred to a neurologist for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted with the MRI results.
