Bumps on back of neck even with ears

My husband is 41. We have been under a lot of stress. His dump truck broke down and we have been rebuilding it. He has noticed these pear shaped but dime size raised knots on the back of his neck in his hair line almost even with the middle of his ears an inch back in that lil soft spot area. When he stands up he gets dizzy! Have given him Advil and it did not help. The bumps are tender to the touch. Any help?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How is your husband? What other symptoms are present? Does he have other co-morbid conditions like hypertension, diabetes?  Of the knots have been there just recently, these could be due to muscle strain, inflammation, infection, possible cyst or lymphadenitis. Dizziness upon standing up may also suggest postural hypotension. If it persists, it is best that he checks with his doctor for proper evaluation. Direct clinical examination of these knots and his medical history will help determine the underlying cause. Take care and do keep us posted.
