CBC results

hi, I'm new to the site so my question may not be sent to the correct area, but if anyone can answer this question, it would be appreciated! If not, then please direct me to the proper area. My MCH is slightly high (31.9) and my MVP is low (6.6). does this mean anything? what questions do I need to be asking my physician? I am mildly defieceint vitamin D, gaining 5# per week, maintaining new weight for 1-3 weeks then gaining another 5# in 1 week. I have been keeping a close watch on it so it's not like I'm slowly gaining. It is a definet sudden 5# weight gain! I have hot flashes, and my legs bruise very easily! Should I be concerned, and what should I be asking my physician? Thank you in advance for any comments and/or concerns!

Sounds like a metabolic problem (Thyroid or Cortisol problem).  I would be asking your PCP/Family Physician to refer you to an Endocrinologist.  Meanwhile, I would ask your PCP/Family Physician to draw a serum Thyroid panel, Cortisol level and a b12 level.  Do you know your Platelet count?

Please post in the Undiagnosed Symptoms Forum.
