Can the cancer come back?

I don't know much about skin cancer, but in 2007 I have had some biopsy done and my ? is can it come back?
Ok some were moderate atypical melanocytic hyperplasia and others were mild  atypical melanocytic hyperplasia and the margins are clear. They just did a biopsy of it and said that's all they need to do so I'm asking should they have taking more of my skin or not?

Removal of tissue is always a judgemental call on the part of the surgeon.

Generally they are pretty good at what they do.

Whether or not it will come back is a "How many Angels on the head of a pin" question.

Lots of times there is a complete cure.

Keeping a healthy immune system, a D3 supplement, and a diet low in refined sugars will give things a push in the right direction.

Any type of cancer can return; yes, possible.   What diagnosis were you given at that time?

You should be getting checked yearly though.  At that time perhaps the physician felt it was something to be monitored and there was no need to proceed futher.
