My result for Chromogranin A is 26.20 ng/ml. The range from the lab is 0-100 ng/ml, but I have found in net at least few other ranges like up to 36.4; 47.5; or 93 ng/ml. Also one range was up to 15 ng/ml.
How about my result, is it OK or not?
Is the Chromogranin A test sufficient for carcinoid and pheochromocytoma investigation while abdominal ultrasound found nothing suspect.
I am asking because I have paroxysmal redness of the cheeks with increased heart hate/blood pressure.
