Does Cancer cause tachycardia?

Can cancer cause sinus tachycardia (normal heart elevated rhythm)?

Are there any blood tests which would detect or show signs of cancer?

Cancers including head and neck cancers, lymphoma, brain.  (i.e. lymphocytes, electrolytes etc...)

my daughter, 22, has  many unexplained problems/symptoms.  She recently has been told that she also sinus tachycardia and a blood test indicated that her thyroid is functioning normally but her white blood cells are very  high.   She is going back to the doctor today.  I am worried.  She already has had a large pre-cancerous tumor removed from her colon.  She also is in constant abdominal pain.....

All sorts of reasons - a huge variety of symptoms.  Weakness, paresthesias, sinus tachycardia, right bundle branch block in heart, petechiae, bruising easily, hypersensitive to hot and cold, unequal pupils, palpitations, general itching all over, blood work normal apart from increase in RDW (Red Cell Width).  Tachycardia does not ever calm down.  Swelling in throat with no pain, swollen cervical gland for over 2 yrs with no pain.  Faitgue.  Muscle twitching, neck twitching.  Spots in front of eyes.

Probably it can but it would not the the most likely cause by a long shot. Cancer can cause all sorts of odd symptoms but this is not one I've ever seen.

There are some blood tests that pick up some cancers. Blood cancers particularly. Head cancers you need a scan of some sort.

Why are you even thinking it might be cancer?
