Esphagus cancer

I understand esphagus cancer is a fast moving cancer, Is it possible if they have surgery, and have the esphagus and 1 lymod node removed, can a person still survive this kind of cancer, going threw chemo, feeding threw the tube, will all this help out at the end? and how rare is esphagus cancer?

This type of cancer is very rare. Surviving rate is extremely low because the cancer is found in its late stage. After it has spread cure is next to impossible. If found early, there is a good chance of surviving. But it is hard to detect it early as it usually shows no symptoms until it is advanced.
