Firm lump under skin red on top in pubic area woman. Cancer??

I have health anxiety and in really scared. Im 18. For over a week now i have a firm lump under the skin its red on top. Its at the side of the pubic area like beside the groin where the hair is though. Its smooth. I can pinch it and lift it up and when i push it changes shape a tiny bit. I have a doctors app next week but i feel embarrassed to show her the area. Also im scared what she will say. It came on wrn i was scratching harshly to the extent i hurt myself. It hasnt grown i think it shrunk after i pur a hot water bottle on it or had a warm bath but only a tiny bit. I keep messing with it which i dont think is helping..

Any suggestions? Really scared i keep thinking its cancer :-(
