Hodgkins Disease

Hi i started having a itch on my chest and 1-1/2 months ago, about 3-4 weeks ago my groin area only started having the same itching and now recently it has started on the back of my neck right below the base of the skull is itiching with the same intensity. I can feel a slight bump shaped like a speed bump. Last night i had one 12 oz mixed drink with smirnoff orignal vodka and 7 up i drank about 75% and a crippling pain came over my chest area that i can only describe as two enormous hands crushing me i had no pain internally it was all on the outside at times during the agony i would contort into a strange position that would relieve the pain on one side but not the other. After 30 mins the pain was gone and i felt fine but itchy. I am not on any medications right now im healthy as far as i know my last dr visit was 4 months ago for a mild strep case that cleared quickly. I do not drink regulary which is why i am so concerned none of my family or friends have ever experienced anything like this. What im finding online is pointing towards Hodgkins.  Im trying to get health ins, but at this time cant afford a medical visit. Any help or direction is greatly appreciated. Thankyou in advance.

You may also want to have your pancreas checked. That sort of pain along with itch could be an issue with pancreas.

Of course, there are plenty of other things that can cause severe itch. Allergies and/ or medications. But, a peculiar rash along with severe itch is, indeed, a rare symptom of Hodgkin's Disease. My mother's Hodgkin's Lymphoma initially manifested that way... along with drenching night sweats, swollen lymph glands, sudden/ unexplained weight loss and constant fatigue. However, the crushing pain that you described doesn't sound like a symptom of Hodgkin's Disease.

Anyway, the only conclusive way to know what you're dealing with is to have a thorough medical exam and diagnostic tests. Since you don't have medical insurance, have you considered going to a local health center/ clinic? Ordinarily, patients are seen by nurse practitioners... who do a great job in patient care... and the cost is almost always considerably lower than seeing a doctor.
