Thank you so much summer. We've tried alot of what you mention and still no luck. We're so fortunate as his Cancer Doctor is going to see him today, instead of next week. They will do some blood work and see what is going on.
Thank you for your response. I look forward to future discussions with this community. I'm so glad I found it.

Instead of thinking about eating a large meal, has he tried to just graze on stuff that is palletable?
I used to live on clear soups (non-dairy), fruits, jello, gingerale, popsicles (really good for chemo mouth issues), smoothies, watered down clear juice (cranberry). I've even heard from other cancer patients ice cream was a life saver (though i don't really eat dairy myself). The number one thing I liked was those cup of noodles (instant soup with noodles) for some reason it really went down easily for me and vitamin water. The only "main dish" type stuff I would eat was chicken with plain rice. And frozen fruit (the kind you buy cut up and already frozen) which I would partially thaw out in the microwave, but eat it when it was still cold.
with chemo, not only do you feel sick, but your taste changes. And if you have any mouth sores, or dry mouth as a side effect eating is hard.
