Is it back?

I was diagnosed in 06 with non-hodgkins lymphoma. After surgery to remove a tumor, chemo and radiation and almost a year i was informed it was in remission. Now after 2 blood tests around 6 monmths apart i was informed that my platelet has dropped to 143. Levels are supposed to be between 140 and 415. Is this an early sign that my cancer may have returned again?

I wouldn't think so.  My platelet counts are still near the 140 level and my oncologist tells me it still due to the chemo in 2008.  I was diagnosed in 2006 but no chemo until 2008.

What my doctor watches is the auto immune or SED RATE count.  Keep the faith, be positive and if worried. . . see the doctor and ask for lab tests.

Not really. It may be that you are just a little under the weather. You know low immune system. I have had the same thing happen to me after I was diagnosed with NH Lymphoma in 2005. Just keep the faith. Stay positive on getting better.
