I've had a white painless bump on my hard palate for two weeks, could it be cancer?

Two weeks ago, I noticed a slight bump on my right hard palate. When I checked it out, my whole hard palate was white and my soft palate was yellow. There were small red bumps all along the hard palate, and of course, the bump that was previously mentioned, which was the same white color as the rest of my upper palate. As of today it still hasn't gone away, nor has it grown, but I also noticed that the back of my tongue was very white and patchy, which made me think that maybe I had thrush and that had something to do with it. What's your opinion on this. Should I be worried?

It's also worth noting that prior to this I smoked a bit, not a whole lot, at most two cigarettes a day. I noticed it after taking a break for a week and starting up again. As of right now I am not smoking, though.
