Once gotten rid of, do you normally become immune to that specific strain of HPV?

If you go through successful cervical cancer treatment (chemo & radiation) and you have gotten rid of the HPV ....do most people become immune to that strain of HPV so you could technically have unprotected sex with the partner that originally gave you it?

There's no "successful" treatment which ensures immunity from HPV infections.
Radiation and chemotherapy action is only to destroy the malignant cells, not to "train" nor to protect the immune system.
Au contraire-my opinion only- these procedures weaken the immune system further, by also killing healthy cells in the process.

Your best option is to always practice safe sex and to take all necessary precautions, including avoidance of sexual contact with high risk partners.

Niko
