Lump in my neck

About two months ago I noticed a very small hard lump on the right side of my throat just above my my adam's apple. (I am female). Two months ago it was about the size of a tic-tac. Two days ago I noticed that it has almost doubled in size. I have been diagnosed with multiple Pulmonary Nodules in the past 8 months. How likely is it that this lump in my neck is related to the nodules in my lungs? Is this something I should be overly concerned about?
